In late May, with very little sleep and many hours of cross country driving dragging me down, I slowly rolled the Fiesta into the Orwell Memorial Day parade. Driving a vehicle in my hometown's small parade was a lifelong goal. As I rolled through town, people smiled, waved, and nudged their neighbors with theories on why this odd green car would be in the parade. It put a smile on my face and was an odd little experience that I will never forget.

This month we worked with MWM Graphics to develop a new look for the Fiesta. When I saw the design that Matt came up with, I knew it was going to get attention, I just didn't realize how much. As Caleb from Yipes Auto started to put the graphics on the car, it became apparent that this was going to be on the ridiculous side of insane.

On the drive home I had the exact same feeling as I did in the Orwell parade, everyone seemed to be happier after seeing the car and as a result I was happier. Now I am rolling an original piece of MWM art around in my own One Car Parade, with a smile. As a friend said to me, "Smiles are worth a lot these days,"

Full story of the design and wrap process coming soon...

After running significantly over budget on explosives and behind schedule due to the director's ego swelling post, the bad colonies moving picture studio proudly releases "IV. The Wind in the Weeds". As with "Hey, Rube", it is highly recommended that you follow the below instructions to maximize your viewing pleasure.

Please note, this is NOT an official FiestaMovement video (take that youtube users that wondered what Hey, Rube had to do with the car)

1. Watch video below. (Note the inclusion of a standard quality version for the slow kids)
2. Think to self, option A: WTF? or option B: Damn, and I thought the last one was wack
3. Read this full post.
4. Watch again and state to self, "Ahhhhh, this makes perfect sense" (sarcasm optional)

Enjoy, comment, and send on to others, lots and lots of others.

Yesterday I woke up early and rolled up to Williston. I arrived at Yipes Graphics with my squeeze green Fiesta and left with a one of a kind work of art. I spent the day annoying the dedicated team from Yipes with my slew of photographic equipment. Caleb and his crew worked virtually non-stop applying the complex series of graphics. They worked like surgeon, strategically slicing here, stretching there, until everything matched up perfectly. I have a ton of respect for their work and their talent. By the end of the day, they had applied 11 separate sheets of 3M graphic paper and the car looked sensational.

With a touch of luck, I managed to make it home without causing a major accident. I have never been in a car that causes such an audible reaction from bystanders. When I drove through Bristol, I could hear people grabbing their friends, "Oh my, you have to see this!"

This has been an amazing experience, to start with just an idea and to watch it progress all the way to the final product. I have a few more blogs coming, I have been horribly delinquent in getting the MWM post up. For now, here are all the photos from the install.

A final thanks to Caleb and crew from Yipes Graphics, they took the time to explain the process and worked tirelessly to make this happen.

On Sunday, the bad colonies moving picture studio brought together 66% of the original "Hey Rube" cast in quaint Orwell, Vermont to film the next installment of the miniature mini series. Negotiations for the episode had raged through the weeks following the record crushing release of Hey Rube. As the video tipped100 views on YouTube, the egos and requests of the stars started to swell. With a fresh script in hand, bad colonies went out to its massive network of investors looking for enough scratch to bring the crew back. In the end, The Mannequin and Pee Wee eventually signed on for at least one more episode.

However, The Dude was not to be swayed. No other star experienced as rapid an ascension in status as the Dude. He was all over town, the paparazzi was relentless, you could see the harsh reality of public life wearing on his now famous face. It was a multi media incident at his wedding that drove him to pull out of the next episode. He has been quoted as saying, "I just want to wiffle and hang in the hills with my family, I don't need the stress of these big budget extravaganzas."

The show goes on.

We welcomed a load of new talent to this production. Vermont's own cavalry was on set and ripping up scene after scene. The multi talented Matt Jensen came out of retirement to shoot the whole thing. Working tirelessly through-out the changing conditions, Matt continuously got the shot and moved the crew. Mike Stannard, an old favorite of bad colonies readers, emerged from his off grid summer seclusion to take up the newest pop-culture reference.

This is the photo post. A special thanks to Liam Filan for all of the photos in this post, he plays Pee Wee and works behind the lens.

You can guess but you will never get where this one is going. We hope to have the video out next week along with the "official" FiestaMovement video. Enjoy.

The Director and Space Cowboy - Seth

Man oh man, what a crazy month this has been. Everyone's level of busy is going to vary with time. Some months are high stress while some are cruise control. This last month was "sleep on your office floor" busy, literally. As a result, I had zero free time to write for the Fiestavus blog. It was a painful thing to back off of. I knew all along that we had some big big things in store for the FiestaMovement, so I felt a little better.

Finally it is all back on track. Two weekends back, we visited the massively talented Matt W. Moore to design some new graphics for the rig. And this past weekend we filmed with the cavalry and assorted others for an "unofficial" FiestaMovement video. I am going to have a full length post for each and there will be two mission videos this month, both late, both insane. For now, this has been the teaser for the teaser post for this month's mission.
